Students get to hear themselves think out loud before sharing with the class<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Inquiry-based learning:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Build curiosity by starting with questions, not answers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Hands-on projects and experiments:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> These promote deeper engagement and help students connect abstract concepts to real life.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>2. Collaborative Learning<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moore encourages educators to make learning social and student-driven.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promote <\/span><b>peer teaching<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>group projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use <\/span><b>discussion and debate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to build critical thinking.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strengthen <\/span><b>communication and teamwork skills<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through cooperative structures.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>5. Differentiated Instruction<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moore stressed that one-size-fits-all teaching leaves too many students behind. \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Differentiation isn\u2019t about making things easier<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u201d she said. \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s about making sure all students can access the learning<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adapt lessons to meet individual needs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use <\/span><b>scaffolding<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>tiered assignments<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Offer students <\/span><b>choice<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in how they demonstrate mastery\u2014through presentations, essays, art, or other formats.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>6. Relationship-Building<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moore emphasizes that meaningful teacher-student relationships are at the heart of every effective engagement strategy. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cYou can have the best lesson plan in the world, but if your students don\u2019t feel safe and respected, they won\u2019t engage,\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> she explained. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cStudents remember how you made them feel.
